American Idol continued

I am seriously impressed by some of the guests they brought on tonight. I wasn't expecting it at all. I thought it would be 2 hours of fluff. There were quite a few questionable performances however. Meatloaf? Is there something wrong with him? And Toni Braxton? What happened there? No winner yet, but Prince just came on. Prince, on American Idol. Who would've thunk it?

Meatloaf was convulsing...maybe because he had to sing Celine Dion? Or that could just be his natural movements...Did you love the kid that got to sing with Clay? He was shaking with happiness! They had to get him a stool to sit on.

It's is rare that I see a show that has nothing to do with missing people, sexual preditors or terrorists. I think I am understanding why you like reality tv!

I was pleasantly surprised too! I caught the first part before Lost began. It was way better than I thought it was going to be. I really liked Mary J Blige. I could have skipped her sun glasses, but she was great. They really put on a decent show. I missed Prince, but would've loved to see him. Prince on Idol? What is going on. MK was shocked.

Once the segment of Lost started with the new epsisodes and not a recap...All other shows cease to exsist.

I did catch glimpses of Idol...Mary J was awesome even if she did overshadow whoever that was singing with her. Too bad I missed Prince...But am awful glad they picked Taylor as the new idol!!(Lost was done by then)

Prince was the best part of the show for me. He and the Princesses were great! I look forward to seeing Katharine perform again somewhere. I'd pay to see her. Kudos to Taylor, though -- Soul Patrol!

So I became a fan for the last two episodes. Who knew? I have to admit I did an awful lot of flipping between the Sox game and Lost though. Missed a lot of performers.

Jenn, did I know you were a Lost fan? :o)

Hi Mel-I think Lost is such a good show... so many layers and I'm amazed at how they connect the charters. I know Ronnie is a fan are you?

I was surprised by Prince. I didn't really watch it, just had it on while I was doing other things. Meatloaf's 15 minutes of fame should have expired a long time ago... he's been in a ton of movies, actually. Blame it all on "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
