Rainbow Connection
Why are there so many songs about rainbows
and what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
and rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Who said that every wish would be heard
and answered when wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that and someone believed it.
Look what it's done so far.
What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing
and what do we think we might see?

I love that song, it makes me cry.
I remember doing a gymnastics routine to that when I was about 8.
One of my favorites... I can hear Kermit singing it in my head: ) I can't wait to share all of my childhood favorites with D.
One of my favorite all time songs. I actually had the album from The Muppet Movie when I was a kid. :o)
I can hear Kermit's voice in my head too. Great song. I don't believe I've ever read the lyrics before.
