Is there anything worse
than sending
your child
your blood
your life
to school
a place where they
are assumed to be safe
where they are learning
to become the person
they are meant to be
and then hearing on the news
that there was a shooting
and your child
your blood
your life
is dead?
I don't think there is
anything worse
My heart is breaking
for all the mothers
who received that news
yesterday

It is just sickening. I feel so bad for all those people. The whole episode is just awful...and it keeps happening that is the worst part! It's very upsetting.
My heart breaks for them too.
I'm right there with you, B. It's so hard to even think of leaving your child/ren, especially after horrible events like yesterday. I can't imagine the pain and anger that all of those families are feeling and I worry about the others who attend the school and how this will effect their future. So sad.

Yes, it was very horrible..just plain ol horrible..the worst nightmare for everyone..A school should be a safe place..its an institution which imparts knowledge, which teaches one the subtle differences betn right and wrong. It should be a safe place...where people would go without any fears....worst of all, fear of not returning.
