Ready for this one?

One of my third graders was just suspended.

That pretty much sums up my class.

Michael had a child in his first Kindy class suspended - we're talking 5 year olds. She was suspended at least once a year until she was sent to boarding school at 13 - don't know her record after that....

Looks like a tough year ahead for you B. I still remain confident that it will improve for you. Though I suspect some of the plans for your out of school time will suffer as there's a finite amount of energy in even you!

Hope your weekend is rejuvenating.

I am sorry, I guess my small town mouth is still gaping open that a third grader would be suspended! Gosh i didn't know i had to worry about Riah getting messed up with wrong crowd in grade school! I hope next week goes easier on you!

Wow, I can't imagine, that's aweful. I hope the rest of the class is no trouble.

We had some trouble with drug use in Normanby School just out of Hawera.

The kids were Primary School kids, 5 - 10yr olds. Can you believe that?

That's so sad that kids are doing that at any age but Primary School is a waste.

Primary school is a waste? Please explain.

B, I think LW means that getting suspended/doing drugs is a waste at any age, but especially so in Primary School. (You're so used to him making left field comments you didn't spot the straight ball!)

That's exactly what I meant.

Primary School is the most important schooling period. High School I could have done without.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
