I just read it online!! Very cool! As soon as I get my kids off to school, I am going to run and pick it up!!

I wish my kids teachers would do something like this. I was LOL about the AI comments, I think I met some of those Mom's at your SL open house.

First, great picture! That's the most important thing, right? ;-) It's a wonderful article and a fantastic way to keep parents informed about what is going on in the classroom. Brilliant.

Any time you want reassurance about Australia falling off the planet, well, I'm you're girl! (I wouldn't go asking Loweded Wookie mind, those Kiwis'd tell ya anything....)

Wow, congratulations! I thought it was a great article. I also feel like the teacher to parent communication through the blog is a great tool. I'm glad you were an early adopter.

That's so cool. I totally forgot to pick up a copy today so I just sent Hubby out to see if he could find one. He likes a good challenge.
I read it online already anyway. That's a great pic of you and Mel!

Jack's teacher wanted you to know that you've inspired a teacher in Texas. :)

She'd been thinking about starting a website or blog but was wrestling with some things (including privacy concerns)...after reading the article that I forwarded (hey, I'm proud of you!), she figured it out and is now just waiting for approval from her administrators!

So this mom thanks you!

I came here from Dr. John. You blog really intrigued me because I went through and read some of your archives including your first blog post. I also read the poem of friends who have stopped calling since your husband died and it touched me because we had a close friend my daughters age (11) who passed away and I am wondering what can I do? I did not know them all that well but my husband and daughter did because they took communion calss together at our church.

I am sorry you lost your husband but glad you are blogging.

Add me to the list of impressed. I also forwarded the article to a few of my kids' teachers - we'll see if anything comes of it. What a teacher you must be!
