I am at T's for the weekend. The kids are with my mom, as is the dog.

It's raining heavily so it's a perfect day to stay snuggled inside all day.

Except for two GIANT problems.

I am so ridiculously allergic to his cats I can barely breathe!!!!!!!

Ugh.

Aside from that, everything is lovely.

Have a great weekend!

I'm not feeling sorry for you... you were cuddling at home in a nice warm house. I spent the day in the car for 6 hours in the pouring rain and MK's driving freaks me out.

Luckily, we left D at my parents for the night and went out to a great dinner. I guess, I feel a little sorry for you: ) Can you take anything to help?

So nice to spend a day or night without out the darlings...I hope you had a great time.

If I was you I would use that as an excuse to suck face all day. Tell him you can't breathe and he needs to give you CPR.

We've been having big storms here and it's spring here. I like rain.

Hope you had a great time despite the allergies! My DH is allergic to them too and he (conveniently) can't hang out for long at my mom's house, even though her cat lives in the garage!

As an ER RN, I offer you extreme caution especially if it affects your breathing! I am NOT over-reacting here -- we had a patient, whose previous allergic reactions to felines were limited to hives & runny nose/eyes, come to our emergency department in FULL RESPIRATORY ARREST!

At the very least, take some Benadryl. Also, if you have some Ventolin (or similar "puffers"), keep them in your pocket! Even if the cats are not physically there, their dander & hair may be enough to bring on an attack. The main point I am trying to get across is that allergic symptoms can (and often do) change dramatically the more the body is more exposed to them. Be a proper girl guide and BE PREPARED!
