Sometimes I have good luck
I picked today to be a personal day way back in August. I spent the day in J & J's classrooms. I picked a good day to miss. There was quite a bit of excitement in the town where I teach today and all of the schools were placed in a lockdown for a few hours. I'm glad I missed it all, but even more glad that no students or teachers were put in harm's way.

These days we are living in are so scary and sad.
Today in Philly it was a sad day, they held prayer services for the police officer who was killed.
P.S. The Costume pics are all wonderful!! I think your boys get cuter every day!!!
Never had to go through a real lockdown for an event that might endanger students or staff. The one time was because of the death of a staff member. Heart attack. But have done the tornado drill for real more times than I care to remember. Glad everything was okay and that you enjoyed your day.
