I love how big your classroom is!! It's so pretty, colorful and neat/sharp looking! As a parent I would be super impressed!!
I was :-( when I saw my DD's classroom today. (Apparently it's one of the smallest ones in the school, but I really loved her teacher''s attitude on first impression!)
How many kids do you have this year? What do you LOVE to teach and which subject are you least excited about? What are you most looking forward to? Least?
I don't blog from that computer, but I do check blogs from it! What I didn't take a picture of is the other side of the classroom. There are 3 computers for the students. So the one I showed you is all mine!
Kristi, I have 17 students this year. I love to teach writing the most, and social studies the least.
I am most excited to work with Mel this year, b/c she just moved up to third grade too. I think we'll be able to share lots of ideas.
I am least excited about dealing with the crap that goes along with being a teacher these days. (afraid to say any more here)
17 nice number...are all three that size? I'm positive you guys will have a good year and lots to share. I think Liz is a nice addition also...you guys have a great team to work with this up coming year.
Try not to let all the other stuff bother you. I'm missing that beginning of the school year feeling... All the excitement and anxiety!
Mels' room is not looking good right now b/c a mistake was made, and her fllors were never polished. So all of her furniture is now in the hallway, and she can't go in all week!!! can you imagine?
We miss you Jenn. Yesterday Niocole almost started to cry when discussing your absense.
I'm so sorry Mel. What a mistake! I can't wait to hear Patrick's stories: )
I miss you all terribly. Today, I was remembering a conversation we had about returning to work in a year, and maybe I'd be ready. Well you were right...I am. I pray that I find a job here, if not and the condo doesn't go, maybe we'll come back. You never know what could happen.

Mel- I'm sure your room looks better than you think it does. You're a super star, and it will all come together if it's not already.
Who's Patrick with this year?
Patrick is in grade 2 with Tish.
I miss him already...
