Transition:
The moments, strung out over months,
Where I know I am no longer the woman I was,
but not quite the woman I am becoming

This quote comes from one of my favorite widow self help books. I truly feel like I have changed so much over the past four years, and that I'm still changing. For the most part, I like who I am now much more than who I was.

This blog has helped me become the person that I am now.

You, my readers, my friends, my family, have helped me become the person I am now.

I will be forever grateful for the amazing support I received here, both from people whom I know in real life, and from virtual strangers.

It is time for me to walk away from this blog. As much as I have loved writing it, and as helpful as it has been, it's time to say goodbye.

Thank you for helping me make this latest transition.

Much love,
b

Best of life and much happiness to you and yours.
Interesting choice you've made to quit blogging but I get it more than you know.

Thank goodness for widow group as I would be deeply saddened to not have a connection with you and know how your life is going. You have been a great inspiration to so many, more than you know. Lots of love.

Thanks for all of your comments. They made me sad though! I am especially sad to say goodbye to those that I don't know in real life. I feel like you have been my greatest cheerleaders.

I don't know what I'm doing. Maybe this is a mistake. Time will tell I guess.

B, best of luck to you. I am with Stella though. If you ever feel led to blog again, let me know. I love hearing the updates about you, the boys and T.

You have to do whats best but I am saddened! I remember reading your blog for the first time into all hours of the night "getting to know you" you have grown so much and are wonderful mother! Best wishes for your future..even though it feels like your story ended a few chapters short :)

I feel like everyone else, while I understand your need to move on, I will miss you more than you know. And those photos of the gorgeous boys of yours (T included ;-))

I am grateful (SP? that stinks when you are replying to a teacher's post) that I was able to meet you IRL, and know firsthand that you are as beautiful, articulate, funny and gracious as you are in print!! Your story will forever remain in my heart and you in me as well. I hope to be able to read your book soon.

Hooray B! Although I will miss reading about your journey (I feel like I've gotten to know you!), I am thrilled to hear this, as it seems to indicate a new chapter for you. Never that you will forget, but just that you have healed and are really ready for your next step. My very best to you and your boys. Lurker Cathy

Hugs and love. I am so happy for you. Our friendship, blog style, brought me through a tough time in my life, I still refer to you as a friend, and will think of you as that.

As sad as I am that I can't check in on you, I am as happy to know you have stepped up and away, and have moved on that much more.

I will think of you and Joe on my anniversary (May1), every year, and say a prayer for you.

So many days, a comment from you meant the world, and got me through my (physical) pain, and many a bad day. I am so happy to see us both grow so much.

So, all the best, to you, your boys, and thank you for being my blog best friend when I needed one. I wish you the best in life, and look forward to seeing you again, here, or beyond.

Love
Slacker Mom
